Information Communications Technology - ICT


The ICT sub-working consist of professionals from the 40 IAWG agencies. The representatives are specialists in Networking, infrastructure, IT security and network optimization e.t.c.The group convenes for meetings on a Bi-monthly basis each year.

To be the leading ICT forum for humanitarian solutions in Africa.
 
Vision:
Bring about transformative Change in the humanitarian sector through ICT driven solutions.
Objectives:
• Share best practices
• Increase networking opportunities for IT Professionals
• Have a forum for information sharing
• Conduct research and exchange ideas on emerging technologies
 
ICT has the potential to improve interaction between the affected communities,
humanitarian actors, donors and all other stakeholders fostering transparency and
accountability in delivery of aid.
